A one of a kind day, for a one of a kind couple.

Sherri + Brett brought their friends and family together in the beautiful hill country of Austin, Texas to celebrate their love story - filled entirely with love, laughter, joy, dancing (and some delicious desserts). The appreciation for life and love that this couple shared made it such an honor to be such an integral part of their wedding day. ACH Events had the pleasure of not only planning and coordinating this stunning wedding but also creating the floral designs of Sherri's dreams of white, peach with whispering kisses of blue that tied the night together.

One of our favorite things about working in the wedding industry is how often our clients become our friends. But sometimes, we get lucky and they are already friends that reach out to trust their special day with you. Sherri and Abbie worked together previously years at a student housing company that Sherri still works for and plans events for. When it came time to plan her wedding, she called up Abbie and it was as if no time passed at all. Wedding planning commenced over margaritas at Z Tejas in the hills of Austin and finished with a dance party on the dance floor.

It is our mission to create long-lasting relationships with each couple we have the privilege of working with. We love nothing more than being able to cheer on our couples way beyond their wedding day especially when the families begin to grow. Sherri + Brett just recently welcomed their first baby into the world, and we couldn't be more excited for them! We love you forever, Sherri + Brett! We are celebrating your marriage, love, and the family that you are building!

One of our favorite parts of the day was a genuine, intimate moment between Sherri and her dad. Sherri's dad gifted her a diamond necklace that was made from the diamond of her mother's wedding ring. It is so important to allow room for moments like these in your wedding timeline because these are the ones that you will hold onto for the years to come.

Pro Tip - Hire a DJ who is going to have fun with you!! Josh Klaus truly does it all. For Sherri + Brett's day, he sang an acoustic set with his guitar during the cocktail hour, then tore up the dance floor with the mic during the reception. He creates an environment that is fun, exciting, and memorable for all of your guests! The role your DJ plays is one that is extremely important, so we say to hire someone like Josh, or Josh himself!!
